Cart+ Privacy Policy

Linkify Solutions Inc. (“Linkify”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Canadian company, develops and operates the Cart+ Shopify app (“App”). This policy explains how we handle personal data on behalf of merchants (“Merchants”) and their customers (“Shoppers”). Installing or using Cart+ signifies acceptance of this policy.
Information We Collect
Merchant information
Shop domain, contact information, plan details, and configuration settings required to run Cart+ in the storefront.
Shopper information
Identifiable data (name, email, company, cart state, and related metadata) that Cart+ processes solely to deliver real-time cart tracking, analytics, and recovery workflows. Retention strictly follows the plan selected by the Merchant; after the plan’s retention window expires, we delete the information automatically.
How We Use Information
- Provide cart insights, notifications, and automations for Merchants.
- Maintain security, resolve technical issues, and comply with Shopify policies.
- Meet legal obligations, including GDPR/CPRA requirements and Shopify’s compliance webhooks.
Retention & Deletion
Shopper data is retained only for the duration defined by the Merchant’s plan tier. Once the retention period expires, Cart+ automatically purges the data. Merchants or Shoppers may request earlier deletion by contacting us at info@linkifysolutions.com. We honor such requests within 30 days unless legal obligations require additional retention.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards—TLS encryption, strict access controls, and audit logging—to protect data. While no system is entirely risk-free, we actively monitor for threats and patch vulnerabilities promptly.
International Transfers
Cart+ is operated from Canada. When data is processed outside a Shopper’s jurisdiction, we rely on Shopify’s infrastructure and standard contractual clauses to maintain adequate protection.
Data Subject Requests
Access, correction, or deletion requests can be sent to info@linkifysolutions.com. We work with the Merchant to verify identity and respond. Cart+ also processes Shopify’s mandatory `customers/data_request`, `customers/redact`, and `shop/redact` webhooks, so that app data stays synchronized with privacy requirements.
Third Parties
We do not sell Shopper data. Limited sub-processors (hosting, logging, and support services) may access information solely to provide Cart+. Each sub-processor is bound by written agreements that mirror our privacy commitments.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Merchants will be notified inside Cart+ or via email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
